An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

Here at Fruitivity we are APPLE-LOVERS… and with good reason.  Apples are amazing and have countless health benefits that “keep the doctor away.”

Apples really pack a punch when it comes to nutrition, they are little powerhouses full of vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients to fuel your body. When you think of Vitamin C you usually think of citrus fruits like orange… but did you know that apples are packed with this immune-boosting goodness as well?!

Apples also have B-complex vitamins with awesome names like riboflavin, thiamin, and vitamin B-6.  Those vitamins help in maintaining red blood cells and aiding your nervous system.  They’re full of soluble fiber and make for the perfect, filling snack. A little birdie told us that apples have an antioxidant in them called quercetin which makes oxygen more available to your lungs and can aid your body when you’re working out.

Next time you’re looking for a snack, do your body a favor and reach for an apple or a bag of Fruitivity.
